The atmosphere was filled with joy, pride, and history as Mosh Estrella Institute (MEI), Ibadan, celebrated its 3rd Matriculation Ceremony alongside its Maiden Graduation Ceremony, a remarkable dual event that showcased the institution’s growing impact in Nigeria’s educational landscape.

The colourful ceremony drew together parents, guardians, sponsors, community leaders, partners, and government representatives who have continuously supported the institute in its mission of raising disciplined, self-reliant, and responsible citizens through both educational and vocational training.

In recognition of outstanding contributions to society, the institute presented the prestigious Award of Excellence to Engr. Gbeminiyi and Chief Fasakin, two distinguished personalities who have consistently demonstrated excellence in leadership and community service.

The highlight of the event was the conferment of an Honorary Doctorate in Public Administration on Hon. Adio Olaoluwa through the institute’s academic affiliation with Heim Weldios University. This honor celebrates Hon. Adio’s commitment to governance, leadership, and public service.

Hon. Adio, in his words of appreciation, remarked:

“This honor is not for me alone but for every youth who believes in service and responsibility. Education remains the strongest foundation for building a greater Nigeria.”

Acknowledgement was also extended to the Polytechnic Ibadan Poly Consult, represented by the eminent Dr. (Mrs.) Florence, described as a paragon of discipline, brilliance, and intelligence. Her presence underscored the strong academic collaborations MEI continues to nurture in pursuit of excellence.

Speaking on behalf of the Registrar, appreciation was expressed to all staff, students, parents, the host community, and the government for their unwavering contributions to the progress of the institute.

In his founder’s address, Amb. Dr. Moshood Ismail Abioye reaffirmed the divine foundation of the institution, declaring:

“MEI is established on the will of God to support and assist the existing educational system of Nigeria in building citizens who will be responsible, to be self-sufficient and reliant, through educational and vocational studies.”

Engr. Gbeminiyi, one of the awardees, also reflected on the recognition:

“This award reminds us that excellence is not an end but a continuous responsibility to inspire the next generation.”

As the institute welcomed new matriculating students and proudly released its pioneer graduates, the event stood as a symbol of MEI’s commitment to shaping lives, inspiring communities, and building a future driven by knowledge and responsibility.
