Ward 12 of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Akinyele Local Government has set a shining example of unity and maturity with the successful adoption of a consensus list that was coordinated without rancor or division.
Amb. (Dr.) Moshood Ismail Abioye (Mosh), who was entrusted with the coordination of the process, commended party leaders and stakeholders for their confidence in his leadership and for demonstrating uncommon political maturity.
He praised the roles played by Hon. Ere, Hon. Oludele, Hon. Seye, Hon. Yinka, Hon. Saheed, and other stakeholders who worked tirelessly to ensure peace and inclusiveness in the exercise. He further extended special appreciation to the ward’s respected leader, Sheik Rasheed Bamigboye, describing his guidance and trust as a cornerstone of the achievement.
According to Amb. Moshood Abioye, “Ward 12 has successfully presented a consensus list that reflects fairness and inclusiveness. This milestone strengthens our internal democracy and lays a solid foundation for PDP’s victory across all six polling units of Iroko.”
Political observers in Akinyele have hailed the development as a historic demonstration of grassroots cohesion and a clear indication that the PDP remains firmly united and prepared to secure victory in future elections.
