Ibadan, Oyo State. The Founder of Moshood Ajadi Foundation, Amb. Dr. Moshood Ismail Abioye Ajadi, has commended the peaceful and successful conduct of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) State Congress, describing it as a hallmark of maturity, unity, and steadfast commitment to democratic values.
In a statement issued to our news report after the congress, Amb. Dr. Ajadi extended heartfelt congratulations to Hon. Opatokun, Hon. Ogungbenro, Hon. Adeleke, Hon. Ogunshina, and all other newly elected State Executives, while applauding the exemplary leadership of His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, Otunba Seye Famojuro, Alhaji Double T, Oloye Akika and many others. According to him, the governor’s and his allies stabilizing influence and visionary direction have continued to consolidate the strength of the PDP in Oyo State and beyond.
He further commended the dedication and loyalty of grassroots leaders and stakeholders who have played significant roles in the unity and growth of the party. Special recognition was given to Hon. Akinwole Akinleye, Executive Chairman Akinyele LG, alongside respected leaders such as Engr. Akinsola, Oloye Akin Aderibigbe, Alhaji Gazaly, Alhaji Gbolagun, Elder Arowosaye, Elder Adewale, Rt. Hon. Jelili, and Alhaji Musanto. He also appreciated the steadfastness of the Local Government Party Chairman, Mr. Lateef Salahudeen, as well as the collective efforts of the working executives and party members across all levels.
Amb. Dr. Ajadi emphasized that the peaceful congress is a strong message to the nation that the PDP in Oyo State is setting the pace for internal democracy, discipline, and collective progress. He called on all party leaders, executives, and members to sustain the spirit of harmony and unity, stressing that with continued cooperation under the guidance of Governor Seyi Makinde, the PDP is well-positioned for resounding victory not only in Oyo State but across Nigeria.
“The foundation of our democracy is strengthened when leaders and members work in unity of purpose. As the pace has been set by our leader, His Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde, let us continue to build on this harmony for the triumph of our party beyond Oyo State, extending across Nigeria,” he stated.
