Ward 5 Tutorial Grand Finale: A Day of Honour, Hope, and Heavy Praise

It was a celebration of purpose and promise at Funduk today as Hon. Sarafadeen Oladeji Oye, Youth Leader of PDP Ward 5, brought the curtain down on the Intensive Tutorial Programme and Free O’Level Examination Scholarship organised in partnership with Mosh Estrella Institute, founded by Ambassador Dr. Chief Moshood Ismail Abioye.

The event, which drew a crowd of students, parents, and party faithful, became a powerful testament to what happens when leadership meets vision.

Representing the Executive Chairman, Hon. Akinwole Akinleye, the Chief of Staff Hon. Aderinwale Adeyemi arrived with the full weight of a government that prioritises education. In a gesture that left parents and students emotional, the Chairman’s office sponsored NECO examinations for outstanding students, a direct intervention that removes financial barriers and keeps dreams alive.

The Chief of Staff personally donated additional NECO slots, matching the Chairman’s generosity with his own. Hon. Kolawole Kareem, Leader of the Akinyele Legislative Arm, also stepped forward with free examination slots, proving that leadership is not a title but a responsibility.

The SA to the Chairman, Mrs. Morenikeji, and the Supervisory Councillor for Energy, Hon. Alabede Abass, both demonstrated their commitment through financial support to the initiative, while Ward 5 PDP Chairman who doubles as the chief host , Hon. Femi Adegbite also backed the programme massively.

Students who distinguished themselves in academics, character, and punctuality were presented with awards, their faces glowing with the pride of achievement.

Parents could not hold back their gratitude. They thanked the Youth Leader for birthing the initiative, praised the Chairman and his team for their unwavering support, and blessed the partners at Mosh Estrella Institute for providing quality tutorial.

Ambassador Dr. Chief Moshood Ismail Abioye, whose foundation powered the educational drive, charged the students to stay focused and never relent.

And through it all, the man of the moment, Hon. Sarafadeen Oladeji Oye, stood quietly, receiving praise after praise, not for himself, but for a vision that proved that Ward 5 youths are not waiting for tomorrow. They are building it today.
