ONIROKO-IN-COUNCIL COMMENDS YOUTH EFFORTS AND CELEBRATES RESTORATION OF ELECTRICITY TO IROKO

The Oniroko-in-Council expresses profound gratitude and appreciation to the Iroko Youth Development Forum (IYDF) and all well-meaning sons and daughters of Iroko whose dedication, sacrifices, and unwavering commitment have culminated in the restoration of electricity supply to our dear community.

Special appreciation is extended to Chief Fasakin (Atunluse of Iroko) , Comrade Segun Akande, Asiwaju Odo Chief Haruna Ayinla, the Youth President,  Prince Kazim , Alfa Orelope and all members of the Iroko Community Development Association, most especially the Landlords and Landladies their resilience, advocacy, and collaborative efforts toward achieving this laudable milestone.

The Council particularly acknowledges the outstanding leadership and commitment demonstrated by Amb. Chief. Moshood Ismail Abioye (Otunba Oniroko), whose immense contributions within a relatively short period of engagement in community affairs have continued to inspire collective action and developmental initiatives among the youths and stakeholders of Iroko.

The Council also deeply appreciates the immeasurable contributions of the sons of the late Oniroko, notably, Prince Biodun, Prince Bolaji, and Prince Dolapo, whose support and sense of responsibility toward the progress of Iroko remain commendable and worthy of emulation.

Furthermore, the Oniroko-in-Council recognizes and appreciates the steadfast support of Oba-in-Council members, Prince Obashola, Mr. Debo, all Chiefs, Baales, and illustrious sons and daughters of Iroko both at home and in the diaspora who have contributed in various capacities to ensuring the return of electricity to our community.

While rejoicing over this achievement, the Council prays and believes that this restoration shall be sustainable and permanent. We also use this opportunity to appeal to relevant government authorities and service providers to continue supporting infrastructural development within Iroko and its environs.

The Council equally calls upon older and younger generations, both at home and abroad, to emulate this spirit of unity and selfless service. We encourage our vibrant youths who are actively participating in politics and public service to remain steadfast, as we believe that having competent sons and daughters of Iroko in positions of leadership and governance will accelerate the socio-economic transformation of Iroko and the entire Akinyele East axis.

Together, united in purpose and committed to development, we shall continue to build an Iroko that future generations will be proud to inherit.
