cultism Is A Non Profitable Venture – Akinyele East council Boss
In a bid to complement the effort of the oyo state government in eradicating cultism in the state, most especially in Local Council Areas, the Political Head, Akinyele Local Council Development Area, LCDA Hon Ahmed kazeem Adekunle (kangara) has changed the students to stay clear of any form or act of hooliganism and cultism of any form in and outside the schools.
Hon Ahmed, who was ably represented by the Assistant secretary, Hon Olatunji Johnson Adeleke started this at a programme tagged “Campaign Against Cultism Among our students in schools within the LCDA” yesterday at the council Secretariat
Hon Ahmed, emphasised the need for the students to face their academics squarely so as not to be distracted by non -profitable ventures which could only end up in distraction
While lmploring the students to always promptly report any form of hooliganism, occultic activities to the authorities in their schools in order not jeopardise their future.
The guest lecturer on the occasion, Mr Femi Micheal from the university of Ibadan, assured the students of their safety whenever they report those involved in cultism in the area as juvenile homes in Ibadan were awaiting those culpable for rehabilitation.
Mr Michael commended Governor Seyi Makinde for the initiative of carrying the cultism campaign to the grassroots, a development he noted would help in no small measure at eradicating the scourge.

And they should also remember that there is a poem which says what goes around comes around.
