A Father, a Guide, and a Beacon of Wisdom: Amb. Dr. Otunba Moshood’s Birthday Tribute to Baba Oloye Akinropo Aderibigbe

On this special occasion of your birthday, I extend my heartfelt congratulations and warmest wishes to a true political father, mentor, and pillar of wisdom.

Baba, your life of service, deep understanding, and unwavering guidance have continued to shape the political landscape of Akinyele Local Government, our great party, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), and Oyo State at large. Your humility, integrity, and strategic insight remain a compass for many of us who are privileged to walk the political path under your fatherly mentorship.

Your genuine love and unwavering loyalty to our role model and leader, His Excellency Engr. Seyi Makinde, whom we strongly believe, by the will of Almighty Allah, shall emerge as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria come 2027 (In Sha Allah), is both inspiring and deeply motivating.

Personally, I owe you profound gratitude. Your guidance and fatherly counsel have played a defining role in my political journey so far. As I look forward to more of your mentorship and wisdom, I pray that Almighty Allah continues to bless you with long life, sound health, and greater prosperity to keep nurturing and guiding the next generation of leaders.

Baba, your impactful role also inspired my newly published book, “The CEO Myth: Why Leadership Belongs in Politics.” In fact, I proudly quoted your profound words on page 5, where in a private discussion, you told me:

“Politics is a calling like prophetic callings. You must receive the calling, and truly it is. You don’t need to be perfect, but only be courageous and care.”

Those timeless words have since become my guiding principle, reminding me that true leadership is not about perfection, but about courage, empathy, and service to humanity.

Once again, Happy Birthday, Baba. May your wisdom continue to illuminate our path, and may your legacy of mentorship and leadership inspire generations to come.

Warm regards,
Amb. Dr. Otunba Moshood Ismail
