The Moshood family has expressed profound gratitude to individuals, political leaders, community associations, and well-wishers who graced and supported the 8-day Fidau Prayer held in honour of their late matriarch, Alhaja Fatimah Moshood.
In a statement issued by Amb. (Dr.) Moshood Ismail (Dr Mosh) on behalf of the family, the Fidau was described as “a true celebration of a remarkable life and legacy,” adding that the overwhelming show of love and solidarity was deeply touching.
The family acknowledged the presence and contributions of several dignitaries, including Chief Aremu Olopoeyan team, Hon. Akinwole Akinleye, Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, Hon. Solomon Ere, party leaders across Akinyele Local Government, Ward 12 Executives and members, members of Mosh Vanguard Akinyele and Lagelu, as well as Chairman of PDP Ward 8, 12 and Acting Chairman of PDP Akinyele Local Government.
Also commended were the staff of Mosh Estrella Institute and Bliss Lounge and enterprise LTD, Orogun, Chiefs, Youth Forums, and Landlord Association, the Oniroko-in-Council, Mogaji Ile Abaa Labiran,Former ward 12 councillor Hon yinka, present councillor ward 12 Hon Seye, religious leaders headed by the chief imam from Iroko and Orogun, Chief Imam Erijiyan, Oluwo Awosanmi Abe and all otololaye members, Pastor M. A. Ojoo Youth organisation secretary, Chief Abolade, Sir Asimiyu Abiodun and several other individuals and groups most especially the local securities all present, to all their in laws most especially baba Arowosaye.
Amb. Ismail prayed for Allah’s abundant blessings on all supporters, peace in their homes, and eternal rest for the late matriarch, saying: “May Almighty Allah (SWT) reward you all abundantly, and may He continue to envelop the soul of our dear mother in His infinite mercy.”
