Akinyele/Lagelu, Oyo State.
In a spirited engagement with members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ward 12 of Akinyele Local Government, Federal House of Representatives hopeful, Amb. Dr. Moshood Ismail Abioye, has praised the massive turnout and reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to party unity, discipline, and purposeful leadership.
Dr. Abioye described the warm reception and overwhelming attendance as a testament to the PDP’s deep roots and enduring strength at the grassroots level.
“Today’s gathering is not just a show of numbers; it is a powerful message that our people are ready for progress. It reflects the resilience of our great party and the passion of its loyal members.”
Addressing members and stakeholders, Dr. Abioye emphasized the urgent need for unity, maturity, and internal cohesion. He cautioned against harmful factionalism and divisive politics that weaken collective goals.
“PDP is a family, not a faction. Àgbàjọ ọwọ́ la fi ń sọ̀yà; ọwọ́ kan ò gbẹ́rù d’ori. Unity is strength. No one is greater than the party. We must rise above ego, rally together, and build with one voice.”
He urged party members to remain focused and steadfast, stressing that loyalty and patience will ultimately be rewarded.
“The future is bright, but only for those who stay true to the cause. Ẹgbẹ́ ni, kì í ṣe èyà. Let us be sincere and committed to the progress of our party.”
Dr. Abioye issued a stern warning to party executives and members who may be misusing their positions or sowing discord within the party:
“Let me be clear, I will not hesitate to report anyone, including Excos, who disrupt the peace or manipulate the trust of the people. Ìjòkó aláfọ̀kànbalẹ̀ ló máa ń bọ̀sè àlàáfíà. We must end these games before they tear down all we’ve built.”
Concluding his remarks, Dr. Abioye reaffirmed his dedication to the collective advancement of the PDP and the broader aspirations of the people:
“This is not about personal ambition that is evident. It is about purpose, about ensuring that PDP remains a symbol of unity, strength, and deliverance for our people. PDP ló le ṣe é; kó má bàjẹ́ kúrò l’ọ́wọ́ wa! Let us protect our party, for it is the vehicle to our future.”
