Akinyele, Ibadan — Notable youth and community development advocate, Am . Dr. Otunba Moshood Ismail Abioye, has applauded the Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, Hon. Akinwole Akinleye, for what he described as outstanding foresight in driving development and strengthening security within the council area.
Otunba Abioye gave the commendation following the successful commissioning of the Moniya Police Area Command Headquarters and the newly completed motorized boreholes, projects he said reflect purposeful leadership under the Omituntun 2.0 Grassroots Development Agenda.
According to him, the establishment of the Police Area Command in Moniya is a major step toward improving security architecture, boosting police presence, and enhancing rapid response within the communities of Akinyele Local Government. He further noted that the provision of motorized boreholes demonstrates the chairman’s understanding of the everyday needs of the people.
Otunba Abioye also expressed deep appreciation to the Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Barr. Abdulraheem Adebayo Lawal, for gracing the commissioning ceremony. He stated that the Deputy Governor’s presence added prestige to the event and reaffirmed the state government’s support for developmental initiatives at the grassroots.
He praised the synergy between the state leadership and the local government administration, describing the collaboration as a driving force behind the steady transformation being witnessed across Akinyele and other local government
