“The demise of our dear father, leader, Hon. Adeleke Gbenga is a great loss to ward 12, and the party at large knowing the vital role Pa Adeleke played,

I want to also take this moment to express my appreciation and disappointment to some Sympathizers with us but this should be a clarion call to all lovers of peace as said by the elders of our tribe bo ba Je pe bi a se peju sinku, la toju a lare o se se ko wa laye, our love and affection is much needed when we are alive and not public or eye service display when one is gone. Those who find it hard to visit him when he was sick, even visited the church, iroko was not far anymore yet when his alive sick, just little few are seen, we need to know what goes around comes around, politically taken things personal to heart is not needed, its a craft just like we risk all other things, one might win or lose, and there is chances of trying again.

The dead is gone but don’t lets forget he has family, and all he left behind, our roles are more important now, our care and affection is more needed now and to the deceased family, periodic prayer and sacrifices should be done often for the late leader.

As I do call him, daddy did so well to me as he can’t be ignore in my political story, I could remember even when I don’t know I will join politics or PDP, my foundation did a drinkable water for my people in iroko, my dad invited him, he was there even when he doesn’t know me, when I’m convinced enough to give politics a trial, my father reminded me of who he was, and since then he was part of those leaders that I cherish much and value because he was able to guide and support me right, I was treated like a son same way all other leaders are doing, while many bad mouth our leaders, they treat me base on what my style of politics is even though it’s different from what others is doing. I know I will always miss you till we meet again, i could remember daddy envelope when he was invited to Mosh Estrella Institute Maiden Matriculation which is my first time receiving such in an occassion like that” said Otunba.

Hon. Adeleke survived with children, grandchildren, political leaders, family, and wife.

May his soul rest in peace.
