Seyi Makinde over his installation as the Aare Omoluabi of Akure kingdom by His Royal Majesty, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, Deji of Akure and Deji-in-Council today 18th July, 2025.
In a congratulatory message personally issued by Dr Mosh has popularly called but made available to Greport International Media through his Public relation officer, Comrade Ajibola Olaniyi, Otunba Abioye stated that the installation of His Excellency further attested his regards to traditional institutions and his impacts, legacy as the Executive Governor of Oyo State in over six years in office.
“On behalf of my team, family, friends and associates and our loyal party members in the federal constituency of Akinyele and Lagelu, I felicitate and congratulate my amiable role model, the Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Abiodun Makinde as he is being conferred with a chieftaincy title as the Aare Omoluabi of Akure kingdom today.
This honour further confirms your Excellency’s selfless service to the good people of Oyo State, Nigeria and humanity in general. You are truly an Omoluabi in all ramifications that’s worthy of emulation.
Indeed, our Governor is someone whose integrity and character stand firm. This chieftaincy title is one of the very few titles and awards that His Excellency has consented to, due to your personal believe of not compromising your service to our good people which is likely same of my believe to chieftancy acceptance, in other not to compromise one service to humanity, I decline many chieftaincy title in Lagos, even our oyo state not as a sign of rudeness but in order not to compromise my significant role within the society but I couldn’t let down my royal and spiritual father the late Oniroko Oba Olasunkanmi Ismail Abioye who bestowed on me the Otunba Oniroko which has been base on merit and not a sycophants one.
I’m confident that this will serve as a continuous source of motivation for you, inspiring even greater accomplishments in the nearest future to Nigeria and the world at large.
