The Moshood Ajadi Foundation has announced the hosting of its 2nd Ramadan Tefsir Lecture, an important spiritual gathering aimed at strengthening faith, promoting unity, and deepening understanding of the Holy Qur’an during the sacred month of Ramadan.
The event is scheduled to hold on Thursday, 12th March 2026 by 4:00pm prompt at Iroko Community, Palace Frontage, bringing together Islamic scholars, community leaders, political stakeholders, and faithful Muslims from far and near.
The Guest Speaker, Imam Yusuf Adeniyi (Ewa-Esin), who also serves as the Chief Imam of Mosh Estrella Institute, will deliver a lecture on the topic: “Ramadan and Qur’an: Reconnecting with Divine Guidance. Why the Qur’an was revealed in Ramadan and how to live by its teachings.” His message is expected to guide participants on how to strengthen their spiritual connection with Allah and apply Qur’anic teachings in daily life.
The Chief Host, Sheikh Arimiyahu, Chief Imam of Iroko Central Mosque, will also play a key role in the spiritual proceedings of the programme.
According to the Founder of Moshood Ajadi Foundation, Amb. Dr. Chief Moshood Ismail Abioye, the Ramadan Tefsir is part of the Foundation’s commitment to promoting religious enlightenment, peaceful coexistence, and moral development within the community and we shall continue to organise it annually every Ramadan in Sha Allah.
He explained that the programme will also serve as a platform for community bonding and prayers for the progress of the society and the nation.
Several dignitaries are expected to grace the occasion, including Hon. Wole Akinyele, Chairman of Akinyele Local Government; Hon. Sakiru Akintunde, Vice Chairman of Akinyele Local Government; Hon. Ahmed Kazeem, Political Head of Akinyele East LCDA; Oniroko in council, dignitarieswithin the local government and beyond, alongside other respected leaders and members of the Akinyele Muslim Community.
Special recognitions will also be given to notable fathers and mothers of the day drawn from respected families within the Iroko Kingdom.
The Moshood Ajadi Foundation therefore invites political leaders, religious faithfuls, community stakeholders, associates, friends, families, and the general public to attend the lecture and benefit from the spiritual insight and prayers that will accompany the programme.
The Foundation noted that Ramadan remains a season of reflection, charity, unity, and renewed commitment to righteous living, urging Muslims and the wider community to take advantage of the Tefsir to strengthen their faith and contribute positively to society.
All guests are expected to be seated before the commencement time as the programme will start promptly by 4:00pm.
