In a commendable move aimed at empowering young minds through education, the Omituntun Busari Foundation has partnered with the Moshood Ajadi Foundation to offer tuition-free scholarships to deserving students across Ward 1 to 14 in Lagelu Local Government Area.
This noble initiative is designed to create access to quality education for students from less-privileged backgrounds, ensuring that financial limitations do not stand as a barrier to a brighter future.
Speaking on the partnership, Hon. Dayo Busari, former Councillor representing the good people of Lagelu Ward 5, described the gesture as “a rare act of kindness that demonstrates genuine love for community, the state and the people growth and development.” He lauded Moshood Ajadi foundation for the consistent commitment to social development.
The Founder of both Mosh Estrella Institute and Moshood Ajadi Foundation, Otunba Amb. Dr. Moshood Ismail Abioye, emphasized the importance of education as a catalyst for development, especially among young and able individuals in rural communities.
“Education remains one of the most germane tools for growth, transformation, and the liberation of minds. Investing in the youth education investing in our future,” Otunba Abioye remarked.
He further encouraged community leaders, philanthropists, and institutions to support education initiatives and collaborate for wider impact and for achievement of government vision.
The partnership will see beneficiaries enrolled into various programs at Mosh Estrella Institute, Ibadan, which is affiliated with Omololu Olunloyo Polytechnic (The PolytechnicIbadan). The institute is known for its dedication to academic excellence and vocational empowerment which enhance self reliant of individuals.
