Ambassador Dr. Moshood Ismail Abioye has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Hon. Ere and Hon. Lekan on their emergence as consensus candidates for Akinyele Constituency 2 and Constituency 1 respectively, describing the development as a strong signal of unity, maturity, and strategic leadership within the party.
In a statement made available to the press, Amb. Dr. Abioye also appreciated the Akinyele PDP Local Executives for what he termed “rare statesmanship and commitment to peace,” noting that their ability to manage internal interests and arrive at a consensus reflects true party discipline and foresight ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Quoting his remarks, he stated:
“The ticket to Ere is not just a personal victory, it is a victory for the party and a gateway to prosperity for the good people of Akinyele Constituency 2. As a stakeholder from Constituency 2, I can boldly say the joy across my ward, Ward 12, is incomparable.”
He further described Hon. Ere as a candidate whose popularity and acceptance among the people remain unmatched due to his longstanding grassroots engagement and visible impact.
“Ere is sellable and marketable to the people because of his direct impact on their lives. That is what a true representative should embody. His antecedents speak strongly for him,” he added.
Amb. Dr. Abioye concluded with prayers and optimism for the journey ahead, expressing confidence in total victory for the party.
“My prayers are that God will continue to support and protect us all as we journey together towards a resounding victory come 2027.”
