The Allied People’s Movement (APM) in Ward 12, Akinyele Local Government Area, has received a major boost following the donation of a TVS motorcycle branded with the party’s campaign materials by Amb. Dr. Moshood Ismail Abioye to strengthen grassroots mobilisation and party outreach across the ward.
The donation, described as Phase Two of Dr. Moshood’s mobilisation support, is intended to facilitate movement into villages and surrounding communities, taking the message and activities of the party closer to residents at the grassroots.
The presentation was made during the ward meeting attended by party leaders, members and supporters. The development generated excitement among members, who expressed appreciation for what they described as Dr. Moshood’s continuous commitment to the growth and strengthening of the party structure.
Speaking at the gathering, the Ward Chairman, Alhaji Titilope Ganiyu, appreciated Dr. Moshood for his contributions to the party from the beginning, noting his consistent support for the ward and its members. He offered prayers for divine success in all Dr. Moshood’s endeavours.
Also speaking, the Ward Leader, Alfa Rasheed Bamigboye, prayed for Dr. Moshood, asking God to continue to guide, strengthen and bless his efforts.
The former Ward Chairman, Mr. Kola, expressed his admiration for Dr. Moshood’s approach to politics, particularly his continued support for party activities and grassroots members. He prayed that God would crown his efforts with success.
The meeting also witnessed the presence of the Ward 12 Councillor, Hon. Seye Adeyemo, and the APM Councillorship Candidate for Ward 12, Hon. Yinka Akano. Hon. Adeyemo further demonstrated his support for the party by providing financial assistance to party members during the gathering.
The Ward 12 APM leadership and members expressed optimism that the new mobilisation motorcycle would enhance their ability to reach communities and villages within the ward.
The emergence of Hon. Yinka Akano as the APM consensus councillorship candidate for Ward 12 had earlier been reported in August 2026, with the ward leadership stressing unity and cooperation among members.
The latest development further highlights the emphasis being placed on grassroots organisation, mobility and direct engagement with communities by the Ward 12 structure.
