Iroko, Akinyele LGA
The Founder of Mosh Estrella Institute (MEI), Dr. Mosh, has empowered 255 students across SS1 to SS3 at Iroko Community Grammar School following the successful completion of a two-day Computer Appreciation and Digital Literacy Programme.
The initiative was designed to give the students practical exposure to computer use and relevant knowledge that can support their academic development and future opportunities.
The programme featured interactive lessons, practical demonstrations and hands-on sessions before concluding with a Certificate Presentation Ceremony for the participating students.
At the ceremony, Hon. Dr. Adio S.O, the Supervisory Councillor on Education to Akinyele Local Government Chairman, Hon. Adenowo Oluwaseun formally presented the certificates to the Principal of Iroko Community Grammar School on behalf of Mosh Estrella Institute, for onward presentation to the students.

‘Our Greatest Possession Is the Lives We Impact’ — Dr. Mosh
Speaking on the initiative, Dr. Mosh described the programme as part of his commitment to social entrepreneurship and human development, emphasising the importance of using knowledge to uplift others.
“Our impact through Mosh Estrella Institute is rooted in social entrepreneurship. I believe that what we eat and the possessions we acquire are nothing compared to the human beings we are able to impact and uplift through our knowledge. This is why our motto, Non Sibi Sed Aliis, meaning ‘Not for oneself but for others,’ is central to everything we do.”
He explained that the Institute’s philosophy is built around introducing young people to meaningful opportunities early in life.
“Mosh Estrella Institute was established to add value to society through our ‘catch them young’ approach. We believe that through knowledge, a lot can be turned around. When we equip young people with the right knowledge and skills early enough, we are not only preparing them for today; we are helping to shape the future.”
Dr. Mosh also called on governments at all levels to look beyond traditional approaches to education and invest more deliberately in technology-enabled learning within secondary schools.
He suggested that governments could begin by establishing at least two functional digital classrooms or laboratories in each secondary school, with progressive expansion.
“Government needs to look beyond the old style of education. We are in a digital age, and our secondary schools must prepare students for the realities of that age. Even if we start with two functional digital classrooms or laboratories in each secondary school, that would be a meaningful investment in the future of our children.”
He further noted that while cash and loan empowerment programmes have their place, investment in education and practical skills can give young people capabilities they can continue to develop and apply over time.
Dr. Mosh expressed appreciation to the Office of the Chairman, Akinyele Local Government; Hon. Ere; Hon. Adlat, Hon Yinka; and the Oba Elect, Oniroko-in-Council for their support and encouragement.
He also commended the Principal and management of Iroko Community Grammar School for their cooperation and for providing a conducive environment for the programme.
The successful completion of the initiative reflects the philosophy of Mosh Estrella Institute:
“Non Sibi Sed Aliis — Not for Oneself but for Others.”
