The Iroko Youth Development Forum has officially declared its unwavering solidarity and support for the candidacy of Hon. Solomon Olalere, popularly known as “ERE,” towards the Oyo State House of Assembly ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The Forum described Hon. ERE as a committed grassroots politician, community builder, and development-driven personality whose contributions to the growth and advancement of Iroko Kingdom continue to speak volumes.
Among his notable achievements is the electrification of major roads within Iroko through solar-powered street lights, a laudable initiative that has significantly improved security, social activities, and the general wellbeing of residents across the community.
The Forum also acknowledged his continuous communal support towards the development, peace, and progress of Iroko land at large, describing him as a leader who has consistently demonstrated passion for humanity and community advancement.
According to the statement, members of the Forum strongly believe that if given the opportunity to serve at the State Assembly, Hon. Chief Solomon Olalere “ERE” will deliver purposeful representation, quality legislation, and impactful constituency projects capable of transforming the lives of the people.
The Forum however emphasized that this call and solidarity support is not based merely on the fact that Hon. ERE hails from Iroko Igbagbo, a village under the ancient Iroko Kingdom, a chief in Iroko kingdom, the otun akogun but his visible achievements, leadership capacity, accessibility, and commitment to community development.
“We are supporting competence, capacity, credibility, and proven service to humanity. Hon. Solomon Olalere ‘ERE’ has shown great commitment to the progress of our people, and we strongly believe he possesses the qualities required to represent the constituency effectively,” the statement added.
The Iroko Youth Development Forum therefore called on youths, stakeholders, community leaders, and well-meaning residents of the constituency to support the aspiration of Hon. Solomon Olalere “ERE” in the collective interest of sustainable development and progressive representation.
