Transforming Education: Akinyele Local Government Unveils New Classrooms for Future Leaders

In a remarkable advancement for educational infrastructure, Hon. Akinwole Akinleye, the Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, proudly inaugurated a new block of three classrooms at Sagbe Community Primary School in Moniya, Ibadan. This initiative exemplifies his administration’s commitment to enhancing educational quality and delivering on electoral promises made to the community.
During the commissioning ceremony, Akinleye highlighted the importance of addressing educational needs as soon as he assumed office, underscoring that education is a key priority in line with the Omituntun 2.0 Agenda led by Governor Engr. Seyi Makinde. He expressed the belief that investments in education yield invaluable returns, quoting notable figures like Lord Brougham and Nelson Mandela to emphasize education’s role in alleviating poverty and nurturing future leaders.
The project, completed in under two months, serves as a testament to Akinleye’s dedication to timely project delivery and his administration’s commitment to avoiding unfinished initiatives. He assured the community that this classroom block is just one of many efforts aimed at improving living conditions and educational opportunities in Akinyele.
Vice Chairman Hon. Sakiru Akintunde commended Akinleye for his accountability and proactive approach to community development. Other local leaders, including Hon. Seun Olufade from Ibadan North Local Government, praised Akinleye’s accomplishments and expressed their continued support for his initiatives.
