Host: Can we meet you sir?
I am Moshood Ismail Abioye an educationist and educational consultant who has assisted over a thousand students to secure admissions to study at universities of their choice within and beyond the shore of Africa both on scholarships and non-scholarships, and most who have graduated older and younger than me are doing well because I do meet most of them in great places or when some go for interviews, my name or letters open doors which gives me more referrals too, I am also a business man, a farmer, investor and also a student of life, I keep learning.
Host: Can you say more about your background?
I am the second to the last born of a polygamous family of four wives, I was given birth to in Alafia Hospital Mokola Ibadan, I grew up with my both parents in Orogun where my grandfather in the baale of Orogun, I started my elementary school at Abiodun Metropolitan school barika second gate Ibadan. My secondary school is within my community Yinbol College Orogun Ibadan which is just a stone’s throw from my father’s house. Growing up was not easy, but the challenges and all the stones thrown at me are what I used to build the empires that I and the world is leveraging on now. I graduated from Espam Formation University Benin Republic with a second-class honor. Had my masters when I was an assistant lecturer at Ecole Superieur De Technologie Et De Gestion Benin Republic, I am a member of Chartered Institute of Strategic Management, and various lawful associations among is Association of Africa Professionals of Australia which I am currently the president of Nigeria Chapter
Host: You are been addressed as Dr. Amb. Can we know more about that?
I am an honorary doctorate holder in international relations and politics, due to my impacts and experience, its an honor bestowed on me by heim weldios university of management and technology in the year 2022. In the year 2023, I am decorated by United Nation during universal children’s day with the award of peace Ambassador, the award entitles the recipient ‘AMB’.
Host: Are you married?
Yes I am married to Zainab Oyinkasola Ayomiposi and we are blessed with a beautiful daughter Moshood Isma Anuoluwamiposi.
Host: What is your political view on godfatherism, moneypolitics, and brutality among many others?
As you know I am a member of Peoples Democratic Party in oyo state and Nigeria at large, my view is that politics is a career on its own and deserves ones attention and time if truly one want to get something reasonable from it. Nigeria politics is not encouraging though due to the dirty side of it which has to do with lies, character assassination, hatred, money politics and many other negative sides of it. I don’t see problem in godfatherism and I will rather call it mentorship. In business we have mentors too for you to succeed and not need to learn too much in failing or hard way, its either you start with a mentor or on the way climbing the success ladder you get one but its not what you cant do without. Misunderstanding between mentors and mentees in politics actually makes many felt it’s a bad thing, have maintain many years of relationships with my mentors in business and we still counting that they even loan me that I don’t have to go to bank for loans.
Host: Who is your political mentor?
I will say its God, but I have role models and the first is the executive Governor of Oyo state, his impacts and passion for him actually makes me join the peoples democratic party in the year 2024, even though have been following him since his days in sdp but not as a party member, because then I don’t even have what it takes to be in politics, I was a young man looking for my bearing of been successful, Hon. Wole Akinleye the executive chairman of my local government Akinyele Local government is my mentor as well even though I want more from him in other for me not to do mistakes he did, which is the most important of having a mentor, he has been my guide before joining party and even while im in the party and I pray may God continue to guide him right so he can keep guiding us his mentees right always too and using this avenue to advice all mentors to avoid heresaying but rather confirm rumours because backbiters will try always to destroy cordial relationships in other to keep eating in their dirty corner, what is most important as a mentee which Robert greene in 48 laws of power emphasize that never outshine your master which is part of my principle I have role models across the country and mentors across all sectors and I think I have kept a cordial relationship with them till date because first thing I learnt in life is keeping relationship which has been opening doors to me often.
Host: Why PDP and not APC where you have relationship?
I have answered this in my previous discussion but will shed more light that as a business man I value relationships than anything and it has open doors for me where money can’t, my passion for my state governor won’t allow me to be in opposition or stand against him.
Host: What of if the party is against him 2027
Lol that’s funny he is the party leader and no one will be ungrateful to be against him, he has done too well for PDP Oyo state than to pay him back with been ingrate, my prayer is his choice of candidate should be the choice of the people which will definitely be because you will understand his always doing what is people oriented and he listen more than just acting with selfishness, he will anoint candidate that will move this state forward.
Host: There was rumor that you in APC, have you been in any party before?
Lol, I have never been in APC nor any party before, of which ward or zone, part of the problem of Nigeria politics is attaching to one, wrong story in another to derail one from moving but I have always won on occasions of this because God will fight for me since it’s a false allegation, my mentor has similar situations when he joined PDP today the rest is story is the leader of everyone at the local government, even in business it has happened severally where lies will want to scatter all we have built, I only tell my team to leave the battle to God and we always win and that’s what brought about the nickname of ‘osho o ni iya meta’. Has a business person i have always supported anyone who comes to me for support which is just my case of APC, both at the local, or state or national levels I always have reasons to have to do with them which is just business relationships and not politics, I am even the type that don’t have passion for politics and its still a surprised to me that its now what I have passion for unlike me that always say before that instead of politics I will rather set up more businesses. This is what prompted me to write a book that’s yet to be published that I title ‘Why Politics and not Business’ It’s a direct question to myself because I dislike politics which I think is not meant for a good person

Host: so now that you have joined as anything changed about you:
A lot have changed among is I’m not a private person anymore except my family I don’t get involve because my wife don’t like it and I think its because we are not yet in power, if that happens today and she becomes first lady of course she has no option than to take over such responsibility but just like I love business and family so my wife so she is all about her businesses and family, politics as taken away boss life from me, I am now more humble, gentle, reserved than before, even though before I am but I think I am more because I am been careful not to be dragged unlike before that I don’t want my business to be dent but now its now my name which is all about my brands.
Host: How do you manage family, businesses over five, voluntary associations as many as you lead and now politics:
Its just God because its not about me sincerely, and to my family, and my team, what I do now for our establishment is just pray and think, executions are carried out by my team and they are dong exceptionally well that I can leave the job for them to cater for other things like study, and politics I am involved in. I will be resigning officially from all my businesses soon and be a founder alone in few years.
Host: can you declare your assets:
Of course yes, It’s the first thing I will do once I get any appointment or any elected position, I have been acquiring properties since 21 years old because I learnt business directly from my parents so what I gain I save and acquire property for my birthday celebration, but from my 30th I have focus more on human development because I realised that acquiring wealth or properties don’t give one joy like uplifting people, acquiring too much even expose one to danger of envies, hatred. I support every poltical office holder to do so before election and after, and before office and after.
Host: what do you intend to vie for:
I love executive position if not that my wealth which is little to governorship contenders and age which they might felt is too young I will have love to contest as a governor of oyo state because by then I should be 34 years, Have been board of governing council of university, companies and NGO since 27 years old which is unbelievable to many and have been ceo of my firm which outturn millions yearly, with no owing of staffs, or partners or investors, nor bank issues or liquidation or scandals, nor police or efcc issues, and from one business to the other we keep expanding and diverting because I am the type that believe its unwise to put eggs in just a basket.
Host: Why Executive Position
I believe through that, my green pen can torched life and turn around our state to be greater, we are still lacking much development which I believe is possible because I don’t believe in impossibilities, we still need more industrial, technological, economic, and educational, socio-cultural and security revolutions etc among many others, I am not the talking type but rather the doer and I believe only who have done it for himself can do it for the state unlike what we are seeing in most chairmen of my state where contemporaries are functioning but some are doing nothing than fabricating lies within the party for other youths not to fly due to their fear of domination but knowing all will end up working for our good by God grace.
Host: If opportune to be the Governor Choice as PDP governorship candidate for 2027 what will you do?
Just like I mentioned before in the question of why executive position, I will repeat all and work closely with an existing blueprint for the state from my predecessors, I will also have a meeting with all fellow candidates to look at their agendas and anyone ready to work for the growth of oyo state will be brought on board to do the work together in respective of party affiliations, I will lobby our senators to achieve Ibadan State because oyo state is too large to be governed with the allocation we get even though we will work more on generating more IGR but if I have my ways we will have Ibadan state, I will encourage the lawmakers to give more power to our royal fathers as I will uplift them all to be part of the governing councils and not the local government puppet like many her.
Host: What’s your plan for our 31st Birthday?
Like I told you I love to celebrate my birthday by achieving something but this time around it’s a public achievement from youths and women empowerment, to farmers empowerment, community health store opening, 105,000,000 naira worth of tuition-free scholarships to 500 beneficiaries which is to be shared in this ratio 10 each for 26 wards of our great party across Akinyele/lagelu federal constituencies, 10 each for 24 associations across Akinyele/lagelu
Host: On the tuition free scholarship, is that not too much?
nothing is too much to give back to the society because when one is no more is what people benefited that will be say or recorded before God which will be at one gain and more over we can not continue to hope for a better country when we are not ready for the changes, this is part of the changes and in two years or three, i will be more happy when i come across the students doing well too which has always been on my case, when my students go out for interview, atimes they come across students have trained or helped one way other the day and you know what that means automatic employment and it brings back joy and referral to me too. so i think i am happy im doing this and if permitted will do more because its a win for me, for the families benefitting, local government, the state and the country at large even the world.
Host: Can you say something about your foundation and its relationship with your ambition?
It’s two different things, my foundation is my legacy that will speak for me when I am no longer either appointed or elected or not. The non-registered NGO of many politicians makes many think the foundation is a political strategy, not for my case study, it’s my legacy. Moshood Ajadi Foundation is founded in the year 2022 on October 19th, and we got our certificate of registration in 2023 February to do the following; promote peace and unity in society, assist victims of crises in society, to liaise with the government on matters affecting the citizen, empowerment to youths, among many others, only the relationship I can see with it over my ambition is that people will have to look at something before they will support one is just the doors my foundation is opening for me.
Host: If you are called upon to work for the party, will you?
Of course why not I will, I am even doing that already by introducing members to our party, my ward can testify to this and many other wards within my local government unlike many others, and it’s my belief that e niba se ti egba dan dan ni egba na a se titi e, I am serving our great party now and I still look forward to my responsibility by our party leaders so I can do more, definitely the party will serve me too by God grace.
Host: What is your advice to your local government?
We have capable hand at the helms of affairs and just like you know his my mentor whom im well pleased with, im sure we will continue where ever he stops and im sure he will end well with the way his doing but he can do better just like I do tell him and I believe his a Godfearing man who will always do things with God consent, so let’s be rest assured that with Akinleye, Akinyele will be more great but he should not play politics with lifes and properties or allow backbiting among is circle, it’s a principle in my own businesses that no one should talk to a third party when you can talk to who is involved, in most cases third party can cause more havoc if the third party is an evil person but in a situation where he is a good person the matter will be resolved, the same advice is what I have for his circle, he should continue to have listening hears and shouldn’t see critics as a big deal some might be painful but he should take it dearly and utilize it to be better than before.
Host: You have been saying good things about him despite all we hearing is that his at cold war with you over your ward crisis?
Really can I know what you hearing, because you journalist has more information than people like us, but as at today is my egbon just like I do call him and he has been guiding me right any time I beckon on him for advice of course his always there but you know this is politics, he might not be okay with some of my moves may be its too fast or too slow but all I expect from a mentor is proper guide and calling me to order if im going astray which will never be my portion or his portion but if there is any issue his matured and elderly person to call me to other which I am mature enough to know when one his been sincere with me, but in politics anything is allowed but the worst will never happen to our caucus or circle, just good news is the deal, so keep watching but don’t make my ears deaf at any intel at due time and definitely you will be appreciated lol
Host: Its believed that he has preferred candidate in your ward?
I think its too early for him to start that and If I tell you I don’t know about the crisis in my ward it’s a big lie but I thank God that my intervention has make things peaceful which leaders at the ward can testify to it, because I am just myself not for anyone or against anyone, even though many thought I have such ambition too even though some leaders persuaded me at it too, but its not my calling and im sure you know politics is a calling just like pastor or alfa, it’s not just a thing one wake up and join, individuals like that will get nothing out of it. I have been able to play a vital role as a political scientist and mediator between followers of the both aspirants to be united and see themselves as one and not to allow our ward loose the tickets to another ward which we have started seeing changes and definitely as brothers that they are, they will settle their differences it’s a family affairs and they are even older than myself meaning they won’t be childish about it.
Host: whats peculiar to your white attires only?
Lol I think you have enough time with me and will want us to fix another time again, national discussion and party discussions expecting from you is not asked but its fine over my attire that’s personal but I can always wear any color and my undergraduate days, I wore only black does that mean anything too, when I get into power It might be red or brown I will move too, I do things as directed by God who grant me right intuition and nothing special attached to it.
