Today, we join the entire Iroko Kingdom, the royal family, friends, and well-wishers in commemorating the first anniversary of the transition of our revered monarch, His Royal Highness Oba Olasunkanmi Ismaila Abioye Opeola.
One year has passed since Kabiyesi departed this earthly realm, yet his memory remains evergreen in our hearts. His reign was characterized by wisdom, humility, peace, fatherly love, and an unwavering commitment to the development and unity of Iroko Kingdom.
Though his absence is deeply felt, we are comforted by the remarkable legacy he left behind. His contributions to the growth of the kingdom, his dedication to justice, and his passion for the welfare of his people continue to inspire us all.
As we reflect on his life and service, we remember a monarch whose doors were always open, whose counsel was invaluable, and whose vision for a greater Iroko remains a guiding light for present and future generations.
