Dr. Amuda Hafeez has dismissed as false and misleading reports circulating in some quarters that he has defected to the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
In a statement issued in Ibadan, the politician described the claim as baseless and a deliberate attempt to misinform the public and create unnecessary political tension.
“My attention has been drawn to the circulation of false information suggesting that I have defected to the ADC. This claim is entirely unfounded and does not reflect my position or political allegiance,” he stated.
Dr. Hafeez reaffirmed his unwavering loyalty to the Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), stressing his continued commitment to the party’s ideals and the administration’s developmental agenda.
He commended Governor Makinde’s leadership, noting that the current administration has sustained a progressive vision that continues to transform Oyo State across key sectors.
The statement also urged members of the public and his supporters to disregard the rumours, attributing them to mischief makers bent on causing distractions.
Dr. Hafeez reiterated his resolve to remain focused and dedicated to supporting good governance and ensuring the continued delivery of dividends of democracy to the people.
